Lugging your child’s furniture and belongings home at the end of each university year, only to lug them all back the following year is tiring, time consuming, and expensive. Especially if ‘home’ is in another province!
Rather make use of our storage units to store the items for the 2 or 3 month break. The storage units come in various sizes, so you can store anything from a few boxes and suitcases, to beds and desks, and even their car.
Some tips for the student when packing for storage:
Clean and dust any furniture before putting it into storage, to ensure it stays in good condition.
Label all the boxes with their contents.
Use smaller boxes for textbooks as there are quite heavy.
Start packing early, and aim to have everything packed up the day before to avoid stress.
Use at most 2 different sized boxes – this will make stacking easier. Odd sized boxes can end up toppling over, and items breaking.
To ensure peace of mind for all our customers, we have a security company based on the premises, offering 24 hour surveillance and security. You can be assured that your child, and their belongings, will be safe when using university storage facilities.
